 Who doesn't love to decorate for the holidays? Astrologers: do it Zodiac style! My thanks and blessings to Redfin's resident blogger Hannah Tan for asking me to join a wonderful group of astrologers for astrological tips on how to decorate your living space for the holidays. I decided to base my creative ideas on the elements and zodiac signs. Along with your Sun sign, it’s really good to know your natal Moon sign for home decorating. The Moon represents your emotions, home, and family. You should also consider the sign on the cusp of your fourth house for guidance in interior and exterior design. This part of a zodiac chart relates to home, family, and real estate matters. Well-placed candles or a festive lit fireplace will mesmerize fire signs Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Earth signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn enjoy being surrounded by good home cooking and nature with plants or warm and woodsy foliage placed throughout the home. Air signs Gemini, Libra and Aquarius will see sparkles with hanging lights and garland hung on the tree or from ceilings and walls. Merry ice crystals or decorative snow will stir feelings of holiday joy for water signs Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Having jolly drinks on hand like eggnog are perfect plus add cozy comfort foods for Cancer. For additional sound ambience to insure a spirited time, add uptempo music to activate Fire and Air signs, along with slower soothing tunes for Earth and Water signs.
